Jerry Seinfeld, Kristin Chenoweth & More to Headline Saenger Theatre's Reopening Lineup

(6/14/2013) - After more than eight years, the historic Saenger Theatre will proudly reopen its doors this fall with a grand opening celebration, featuring a lineup of performances commemorating the city's love for live entertainment of all kinds. The initial announcement includes a variety of entertainment beginning on Sept. 28 and continuing through Jan. 10 of 2014. Additional performances will be announced as they are confirmed. The Saenger Theatre is currently undergoing a $52 million restoration led by the City of New Orleans, Canal Street Development Corporation, and ACE Theatrical Group.

Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre Opens Box Office Today

(6/2/2013) - Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre will begin a new chapter in its history when its box office opens today for the first time in more than two years. The box office, located in the theatre's lobby at 616 Saint Peter Street, will open this Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. as tickets go on sale for Love, Loss and What I Wore directed by Carl Walker.

Le Petit Theatre Announces 2013-2014 Season

(5/28/2013) - The Board of Governors of Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre announced the dates for its highly anticipated season as well as the hours of operation for the theatre's box office. Le Petit will produce a total of six plays beginning July 19 with the "lagniappe" production of Love, Loss and What I Wore. The production is a prelude to the theatre's seasonal lineup of five plays which run through mid-2014.

The four came together for one night only at Sun Records in Memphis, TN on December 4, 1956, and the show gives audiences an inside look on what could be considered the greatest "jam session" of all time. Audiences can expect to hear popular hits such as 'Blue Suede Shoes,' 'Hound Dog,' and 'I Walk the Line' along with 'Great Balls of Fire,' 'Fever,' and 'Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On.'
