Why the **** do people think a big show will come to a town where people can barely afford cars. It doesn't make sense. Quit making a big deal. It won't happen unless our country's disposal income becomes available. The Chicago, LA and SF companies were booked before the economy tanked. And also, these were the first stops on the Wicked tour and they booked 6 or more week runs full. Like "chipotle" full. Even the second tour isn't going to New Orleans in the near future. Give it time... It won't happen anytime soon.
It's not true. There is going to be no sit down. The only sit downs that there are and only going to be are in NY and San Francisco. Though San Franscisco is going to be moving some time in the future.
And secondly, the vast majority of the metro area (even an hour out of the city) consists of very wealthy people who can ofcourse keep the show alive. I believe those can afford cars.
