Ten West Brings INEFFABLE to New Orleans' Shadowbox Theatre, Now thru 11/18

Tonight, November 15th and the 16th, 17th and 18th, the acclaimed physical comedy duo from Los Angeles, Ten West, will present, INEFFABLE: a clown exploration of the mysteries of life, death and hay fever. All performances will take place at the Shadowbox Theatre, located at 2400 St. Claude Avenue, New Orleans, La.

Ten West is a physical comedy duo comprised of Stephen Simon and Jon Monastero, directed by Bryan Coffee. They have performed in special events as clowns for Cirque du Soleil and have studied and worked with Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus Clown College, the Troubadour Theatre Company's Funky Punks, Stefan Haves' Your Town Follies and the New York Clown Theatre Festival. Ten West is respected for their unique blend of classical clowning and slapstick with an emphasis on storytelling and contemporary themes.

Since 2005, Ten West has performed to critical and audience acclaim across N. America, including appearances at Upright Citizen's Brigade and the Chelsea Playhouse in NYC, Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, Bellingham, and multiple appearances on stage with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra at the Disney Concert Hall.

In their latest offering, INEFFABLE, Ten West takes on the theme of Death in a show that revolves around the intertwined stories of two Pallbearers, DEATH AND THE Deceased. As much an event as a stage performance the audience is invited to participate in a ceremony that addresses our collective struggle to make sense of our inevitable and ineffable demise.
