REGIONAL PREMIERE
THE FOUR OF US
by Itamar Moses
directed by A.J. Allegra
August 19 - September 5, Thursdays - Saturdays @ 8pm, Sundays @ 6pm.
THE FOUR OF US is a comedy about the idealism and dreams of young friendship and aspiring youth, and how the realities of success and adulthood shake those foundations. When Ben's first novel is sold for an astonishing advance, his struggling playwright best friend, David, is thrilled for him... but is also jealous and resentful and hurt. Can a friendship endure ego? Can the expectations of youth endure the cold realities of success and failure? This intimate two man comedy with Sean Glazebrook (With a Bang) and Zach Rogers (Zombie Town: a documentary play) explores these questions and more.
A clever comic drama with a nifty twist...a touching, appealing play. - New York Times
...wickedly smart. - Time Out New York
