Southern Rep has announced the location and new performance times for their production of A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE. 

LOCATION: STREETCAR will be performed at Michalopoulos Studios, 527 Elysian Fields Avenue.

DATES: March 21 - April 15

PERFORMANCE TIMES:
Wed-Sat 7:30pm, Sun 3pm. (NOTE new evening performance times. No change to matinees.)

PARKING: Central Parking, 400 Elysian Fields Avenue. Rates $5-$10.

FREE WALKING-TOUR EVENT:
One hour prior to each performance, join Southern Rep for STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE-themed walking tour. Enter Tennessee William's world and discover where Stanley and Stella Kowalski lived, worked and played in 1947 New Orleans... Walking and talking with cocktails will be encouraged! 

The first production of A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE to be performed in New Orleans in more than a decade, the cast of local favorites includes Southern Rep’s Artistic Director, Aimée Hayes as Blanche Dubois, with collaborating presenters InSideOut Productions’ Michael Aaron Santos as Stanley, Ashley Ricord as Stella, and Mike Harkins as Mitch, joined by Austin Alleman, Caitlyn Allison, Charles Buggage, Tracey Collins, Martin Covert, Monica Harris, Jelani Pitcher, Phil Karnell, Melaina Ricks, Dean Austin Wray, and James Yeargain.

SYNOPSIS: A play that truly comes from the heart of our city–what better way to celebrate our 25th anniversary than with this startlingly fresh production of one of the best plays in the pantheon of American Theatre? Originally scheduled for Southern Rep's cancelled 2006 Post-Katrina season, STREETCAR finally makes a triumphant return to New Orleans.
